CLE Training for 2009-10 Club Officers
Hello fellow Kiwanians.
 
I know I have visited almost every club this month, but I just wanted to remind you about our upcoming CLE.  

It will be held on Saturday, July 18th, from 8:30 am-1 pm at Defiance Regional Medical Center (1200 N Ralston, Defiance) in the Tiffin Room downstairs.  

The cost for this will be very inexpensive (we are working on exact amount-will be $5 or less).  We will have coffee and donuts for the morning.  

If you would like, you may purchase lunch from the cafeteria in the hospital (which is very reasonably priced for the food).  

Although CLE is especially meant for incoming presidents and secretaries, I highly encourage all officers or anybody who is interested in becoming an officer in the future to attend as well.  

Don't forget that to achieve distinguished club status, you can earn 20 points for both your president and secretary attending. 
 
The event will be facilitated by Past Ohio Kiwanis governors Cindy Champer and Tom Crawford.

Interclub by definition...
In order to have an interclub, your Kiwanis club must travel to the meeting of another Kiwanis club or Division or District meeting.

The number of members needed to make an official Kiwanis club depends on the number of members in your club.

• charter strength of 25 or lower - 2 members

• over 50 - 4 members

If you are going to a division or district meeting - or to a District or International convention, you can count the Lt. Governor and District Governors as part of that "official" number of members.
